As far as I know, my nephew Tristan and I are the first and only people to go on an ambitious American Prairie-themed expedition. We are walking 200 miles and canoeing 200 miles. (We are on Day 8 of 20.)
American Prairie is a nonprofit that aspires to create a 3.5 million acre refuge in Montana. They’re doing this by buying private ranches and stitching their properties together with federal land, namely BLM land, of which there’s a lot. I will write more, but a few videos for now…
