I’m a writer, journalist, podcaster, former park ranger, and father. The “Out of the Wild” heading attempts to capture the tensions and joys of my radical life alteration: going from Alaskan nomad to British house dad. It also tries to speak to the weird blend of content here: from cranky movie reviews, to tales of adventure, to moans about parenting, to musings of the “land” and how we live on it.
